Privacy policy

SimRigRacing helps people figure out which sim racing hardware works together. This page lists every category of data we touch, why we touch it, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Vercel records the IP address, browser, and page URL of every request. Used for debugging, abuse detection, and basic traffic analytics. Retention: 30 days.
  • Saved builds. When you click "Save & share build" we store the chosen product IDs + an anonymous short code in our Neon Postgres database, plus a view counter. No name, email, or IP is attached. Builds are public by short-code URL.
  • Feedback emails. The floating Feedback widget sends your message + the page URL you were on to feedback@simrigracing.com via Resend. We keep these emails to triage and reply.
  • Consent state. Your cookie-banner choice is stored in a first-party cookie called sr_consent for one year. No tracking value.

Ad cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept cookies via the consent banner, Google AdSense will set its own cookies to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time at Google's Ads Settings. If you reject cookies, AdSense is not loaded and no ad cookies are set.

Affiliate links

Outbound product links to retailers may include affiliate-tracking parameters. If you click through and buy, SimRigRacing may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way. See the terms of use for the full disclosure.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Email feedback@simrigracing.com with the subject "Privacy request" and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

SimRigRacing is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the site, email us and we'll delete any associated records.

Changes

If we update this policy materially, we'll bump the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after that date counts as acceptance of the updated policy.
